About Me
Welcome to my little corner of creative energy!
I couldn’t pick just one product to design, so I made them all. Temporary tattoos? Got ‘em. Memory magnets? Yep.
Yard signs, photo puzzles, stickers, custom keychains, shirts, tumblers, and oh yeah — magnetic bookmarks too!
Need something designed? Logo, invitation, apparel, flyer, forms…(the list really does go on!) — I can do that too!
Think of my shop like my brain: fun, colorful, a little scattered, and full of way too many ideas to ever commit to just one. If you can’t decide what to order, don’t worry — neither can I.
So whether you want something small, shiny, wearable, hangable, or giftable, I’ve probably made it…
and if not, give me a week, and I will.
Hi. I’m Derin.
Throughout high school, I dreamed of leaving my
small town and exploring new opportunities—
but life had other plans. I’ve always had a creative
heart, and design has been a part of me for as long
as I can remember. I met a boy and stayed close to
home, earning a degree in graphic design and honing
my skills in everything from corporate identity to
invitations and signage.
While I loved creating, I also wanted work that made a difference in people’s lives. This led me to occupational therapy, where I’ve had the privilege of serving children as a school-based OTA. Even in this role, design has remained a part of me — I’ve never stopped creating.
For years, I played with the idea of starting a business but struggled with self-confidence, pricing, and the fear of choosing the “wrong” idea. What I’ve learned is this: I’ll never settle on just one thing.
Not just digital design.
Not just shirts.
Not just invitations.
So, Paper Finch Creative Co. is officially launched, blending thoughtful design with the joyful, versatile, community spirit of the finch — turning ideas into inspired creations of all kinds. My brain is full of ideas — sometimes a little chaotic, always creative — and I’m ready to share them because of your encouragement.
My style might not be for everyone, and that’s okay. But if it makes someone happy, then it’s worth it.
